Congratulations to our 2025-2026 Mascots, the heartbeat of Bowling Green: Mariah Hahn, Calen Gray, London Kelly, Tyshaun Herron, Mirabella DeTillio & Alex Pete, our newest revealed mascots, Freddie and Frieda Falcon! Thank you for everything! 🧡 As one of the oldest college mascots in the country, the mascot position at Bowling Green is a unique tradition of secrecy. Only a few “secret keepers” know the identity of the birds until the day of our annual reveal night each year. To conceal their identities, students have admitted to: 🔸Lying to friends about their whereabouts 🔸 Keeping the secret from siblings and parents 🔸 Creating fake family members and life events At BGSU it is a huge honor to wear the suit and we are so grateful for the students and alumni who have! 🧡Ay Ziggy!

It was wonderful to have our Orientation Leaders to University House in advance of the upcoming academic year. We had a chance to share our favorite memories from @BGSU Orientation this summer, and I was so proud to hear how each of these students made an impact on our incoming students’ experience. Thank you for your work to welcome our newest Falcons and their families!

It was wonderful to host @BGSU_Cheer, @BGSUDanceTeam, @BGSUBirds, @SICSICBGSU and all of our spirit programs ahead of the start of this upcoming year! These students lead so many special traditions that connect generations of Falcons. Look out for our newest @BGSU SICSIC members to be announced very soon!

How it started ➡️ How it's going 🥹 "One of my favorite BGSU memories was serving as the Student Speaker at the Fall 2024 Freshman Convocation! It was such a full-circle moment that truly showed me the growth I have experienced during my time at BGSU. I couldn’t have ever imagined stepping on that stage to speak during my own freshman convocation in 2021. To share my experience and advice to one of the largest and highest-achieving classes in BGSU history was nothing short of incredible.
