💔 Soy madre, pero ya no tengo a mi hija Kira para abrazarla. También fui hija, pero ya no tengo a mi madre para llamarla. Y aquí estoy, entre dos vacíos inmensos, tratando de encontrarle sentido a un día que antes estaba lleno de amor, agradecimiento y besos.
Hoy es uno de esos días, pero tampoco quiero que el dolor borre lo bonito que fue tenerlas. Porque ser madre de mi hija fue el regalo más grande de mi vida y haber tenido a mi madre fue un privilegio que hoy valoro todavía más. Les doy gracias por haberme enseñado a amar de esta manera tan grande. Y me abrazo a mí misma, porque también soy madre, aunque mi niña ya no esté aquí para celebrarlo conmigo. Para los que llevamos tantas ausencias en el corazón - la de mi padre también - está bien llorar, estar en silencio o simplemente recordar.
A todas las madres que hoy cargan vacíos, no dudéis que siguen a nuestro lado.

Esta canción fue el regalo que me hizo Vera el último año. La habían preparado en el cole y la seño les dijo que las mamás no nos podíamos enterar. Yo lo sabía por otros nenes que se lo habían dicho a sus madres, pero Vera, con 4 años recién cumplidos, supo mantener la sorpresa hasta el ultimo día. No me dijo absolutamente nada. Una mañana como hoy, vino a la cama y me la cantó.
Como todos los años, quiero compartir este maravilloso regalo con todas las madres, en especial con aquellas que han perdido un trocito de ellas mismas, que siempre estarán incompletas.
