🚨🗣️ “Does getting Gordon affect Rashford? Not necessarily, in the sense that the club hasn’t yet informed Marcus about anything. It could affect it financially, as it will be complicated to then pay €30m with high wages. It’s still an open story” @FabrizioRomano #Transfers 🏴

✅ CONFIRMED: Atletico wants €150m for Julian Alvarez. @JaviGomara #Transfers 💰🔴⚪️

🚨 | BREAKING : ANDREA CAMBIASO 🇮🇹 FC Barcelona have added Andrea Cambiaso on their initial shortlist of fullbacks for the summer, sources confirm! 🇮🇹🚨🔵🔴#FCB Deco is looking at the fullback market for a potential new LB/RB signing for the summer, that can fit similar profile to João Cancelo but with more defensive attributes. 👀🔑 Andrea Cambiaso has caught the eye of FC Barcelona's scouting department in the last weeks, Barça scouts were present in Juventus vs Pisa game and were impressed. 🇮🇹✨️ FC Barcelona appreciate Cambiaso’s style of play and versatility to play both LB and RB. He is seen as the ideal profile for Hansi Flick’s system by Deco. 👀🔑 Andrea Cambiaso has a contract until June 2029, but could be available for around €30m if Juventus FC fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season. 💰🚨 FC Barcelona are also looking at other full-back names on the market, including Alejandro Grimaldo, Carlos Romero and Caio Henrique. 👀🔵🔴

🚨 Barcelona are in direct club to club talks with Newcastle for Anthony Gordon. The player’s keen on the move but more clubs are also on it. This was the reason of Deco’s mission to the UK, as @mundodeportivo reports. ⚠️ Bayern and Premier League clubs are also keen.

Barcelona are currently monitoring players like Julián Álvarez (valued around €100-120m), Joao Pedro (€80-100m) and Eli Junior Kroupi (€70-90m). However, neither of these players are strikers in the mould of Robert Lewandowski, as they are more comfortable operating behind a central striker rather than leading the line themselves. As well as needing a striker to replace Lewandowski, Barcelona also needs a winger who can stretch defences, beat his man, press aggressively, and contribute goals, as well as a top-level centre-back (Bastoni) making it difficult to address all priorities given the club’s financial limitations. This is where Anthony Gordon becomes a very sensible option. As a winger/striker hybrid, he offers tactical flexibility, capable of playing as a faux 9 and interchanging fluidly with Raphinha in a dynamic attacking setup. His profile covers multiple needs at once. By prioritizing Gordon over Álvarez, Barcelona could redistribute their resources more efficiently, opting for a lower-cost striker option or back up like Fisnik Asllani as depth, while still being able to invest heavily in a top defensive target such as Alessandro Bastoni. In a market where signing an elite striker, winger, and centre-back simultaneously is unrealistic, going for Gordon represents a more balanced and financially sustainable strategy which I'm inboard with.

100m for Alvarez is better than 100m for Joao Pedro.

Barcelona are making the striker position a top priority heading into this transfer window, with the club actively exploring multiple high-profile options to strengthen the attack for next season. In recent days, reports have suggested that Julián Álvarez is increasingly uncertain about continuing at Atlético Madrid, with strong rumors linking the Argentine forward to Barça. The club see him as one of the most complete attacking profiles available on the market, and there is growing belief that the player himself would welcome a move to Camp Nou if the opportunity becomes concrete. At the same time, Barça’s recruitment department continues to work on alternative targets. Deco, João Amaral and Bojan Krkić were reportedly in London this week holding discussions over João Pedro, who has emerged as another serious option for the Catalan side. The Brazilian forward is highly appreciated internally for his versatility, technical quality and ability to play across the front line, making him a profile that fits the club’s long-term vision under the next project. It is understood that João Pedro is very open to joining Barcelona, even with the expected arrival of Alonso to the squad next season. Barça believe a deal could be completed for around €70 million, although club-to-club negotiations with Chelsea have not yet officially started. Still, there is confidence that the player himself could play a major role in pushing the move forward over the coming weeks as Barcelona intensify their search for a new striker. Question is, are Alvarez and Pedro the right choices? Who would you prefer, one of them or someone else?

If it’s between Bradley Barcola and Yan Diomande, I’m opting for Barcola. He can influence a game in a plethora of ways, ways in which Diomande cannot. He has done it on the grandest of stages against the elite.

Ngl, if we have the finance to sign either of Joao Pedro or Alvarez, I will choose Alvarez. To me, he offers more that Joao Pedro– link-up play, set piece ability, dribble, shoot, can score outside the box, and can play multiple position in the frontline.

🚨| 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Julián Álvarez has informed Atlético de Madrid that he intends to to LEAVE the club. His first choice is Barça. Pending further confirmation. [@marca] #fcblive 💣🇦🇷
