@RukkyBE @B_ELRUFAI @Abunaah I think Nigerians should learn participant political culture from them not the usual Parochial one

I am extremely proud of these 2 young politicians @B_ELRUFAI and @Abunaah - politics is not the end of the world. And I hope all the younger aspirants emulate this. To the older ones, we are 👀 with our “googley eyes” 😂 🏃♀️

2023: I gifted my mum a car to ease her movement.
2024: I was financially involved in building a befitting house for her.
2025: The house was completed.
2026: I was financially involved in sponsoring her for the 2026 Hajj.
Unfortunately, my dad has passed but if he was alive, he will have enjoined double of this. Trust me and my siblings. For example, my big bro gave my dad a lump sum to buy a car two years post-NYSC.
Both of them are amazing parent. They went out of their comfort zone to train us in school. Today, we are all good.
Today, my mum enjoys her retirement here (pix) with her monthly pension, allowance from her 5 children and profits from her business.
We provided her uninterrupted power in the new house for her comfort.
I envy her this days but she deserve it.
For men, take care of yourself within your financial capacity. I regularly do. Always remember tomorrow is not assured.

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficient, the most Mericful, I had tried to stay off social media to focus on Ramadan, my family and my work on behalf of the excellent people of Kaduna North. But I have chosen to break my silence to put an end to a blatant lie. Attached is the statement in response to the allegation by a Toilet Newspaper called the Nation on a story from their ICPC sources and sauces. The statement is posted below. Ramadan Mubarak to everyone. Please pray for peace, starting with Nigeria and then the world. (Facebook link below).
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
RE: ICPC’s PHANTOM PHONE TAPPING EQUIPMENT ALLEGATIONS AGAINST MALLAM NASIR AHMAD EL-RUFAI AND THE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO SILENCE: A STATEMENT FROM THE FAMILY OF MALLAM NASIR EL-RUFAI
The family of Mallam Nasir el-Rufai has noted with a mixture of contempt and amusement the recent litany of allegations, falsehoods, and theatrical posturing emanating from the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
It is deeply unfortunate that a constitutionally established agency has descended into what can only be described as a circus of chicanery, apparently designed to prosecute a media war rather than adhere to the rule of law. We are compelled to set the record straight and expose the malicious intent behind this orchestrated smear campaign. facebook.com/share/p/1AaA73…

Happy 66th Birthday to our dear father, His Excellency, Mallam Nasir @elrufai. I have said this before and I will say it again. I also love to proudly say it. One of the greatest honours of my life is being called your son. You are an impeccable administrator, a courageous leader, a bold reformer and a fantastic father. No son could have asked for a better father. As you turn 66, I pray that Allah SWT continues to guide, protect and bless you. Our love and loyalty to you is permanent and pensionable. And here’s a timely reminder you always told us, Quranic verse, (Surah Al-Anfal 8: 30). ‘They plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.’ On behalf of the excellent people of Kaduna North that I proudly represent based on the good traits you taught me. We celebrate the father of Modern Kaduna and the original restorer of the Abuja Master Plan, as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory. I hope you are appreciating all the natural love from people that you have never even met. You truly deserve it after years of excellent service to our nation.
Signed
Hon. Mohammed Bello El-Rufai
Member. Your beloved son.

@bulamabukarti I think @elrufai read law and he's 60 years and above. He knows the implications of saying what he said in the national television if it's not true. Elrufai's knows better..
English

If this matter goes to trial, El-Rufai would have only two options: he can either maintain in court that what he said on Arise TV regarding wiretapping the NSA is true, which would amount to an effective confession to a crime - or say that he lied on national television.
I’m not sure which would be worse for him.

Kwankwaso’s ONLY crime against the Republicans is his patriotic condemnation of Trump’s threats to attack his country. If you are looking for the opposite of a religious extremist, Kwankwaso is one.
Kwankwaso lost election in 2003 because of his reluctance to implement Sharia in Kano. His implementation was seen as hapharzard by the fanatics, who promoted Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau’s candidacy.
When Shekarau defeated Kwankwaso, he re-implemented Sharia in Kano, recruited thousands of Hisbah personnel and re-kitted them towards full implementation of Shariah.
If implementation of Sharia in Nigeria were a crime, a former governor of Zamfara, Ahmed Sani Yarima, should not only appear in the list, but top the list.

Fear Not: Your Master’s/PhD Defence is Just a Formality.
The "viva" or thesis defence is the stuff of academic nightmares. Many students imagine a dark room, a spotlight, and a panel of professors waiting to tear their work apart. But here is a secret that most professors won't tell you until the day of: By the time you walk into that room, you have already won.
The defence is not a trap; it is a victory lap. It is a formal conversation where you are finally treated as a peer rather than just a student. If your supervisor has allowed you to submit your work, it means it is ready. They would not risk their own professional reputation by letting you defend a failing thesis.
Here is why you should breathe easy, using lessons from global academic traditions:
Why the Hard Part is Already Over.
1. The "Internal Quality Control" (European Case Study):
In countries like the UK, France and the Netherlands, the supervisor acts as a "gatekeeper." In the British system, for example, your supervisor must sign off on your submission. If the work wasn't up to standard, they would have stopped you months ago. The viva is simply a verbal confirmation that you wrote the work yourself and understand your findings.
2. The "Consensus Model" (North American Case Study):
In the United States and Canada, you work with a "Committee" throughout your research. These are the same people who will be at your defence. Because they have been reviewing your chapters and giving feedback for years, there should be no surprises. By the time the final date is set, the committee has already reached a consensus that your research is valid.
3. The "Protocol of Respect" (Asian Case Study):
In many East Asian universities, the defence is a highly structured ceremony of respect. While the questioning can be rigorous, it is designed to show the depth of your knowledge to the public or the faculty. The goal is to celebrate the transition from "student" to "scholar."
4. The "Community Celebration" (Nigerian Case Study):
In Nigeria, a successful internal defence often leads to an external examination that feels like a departmental event. It is a rite of passage. Once the external examiner is invited, the university is essentially announcing to the community that they are proud of your work.
Think of your defence as a high-level book club where you are the author. You are the world’s leading expert on your specific topic for those two hours.
No one in that room knows your data, your struggles, or your unique findings better than you do.
The panel isn't looking to fail you; they are looking to welcome you into the "club" of researchers. So, dress up, speak clearly, and enjoy the conversation. You’ve already done the hard work.
Good luck as you prepare to transition from a student to a scholar/expert in your field.
Would you like me to share a "Defence Day Checklist" to help you prepare for the final formal steps?
