Not sure on the protocols but, from the live stream, over 40 watching behind the goal from UCD. Given "all matches to be played behind closed doors" would worry this kind of thing could lead to further restrictions coming in

@HVCsince2005 @hookhockey @BHC_Cork A fantastic venue and a top experience for both teams but why host in that fantastic venue when cases are at an extreme high and the county itself is in lockdown?No risk assessment could guarantee safety for all.Therefore an alternative venue/date should have been available

@MichealMartinTD how are @sportireland interpreting guidelines that they gave the green light for an amateur Cork team (@Blackrockhockey) to travel to Dublin for a match this weekend? Team didnt travel on safety grounds & had to forfeit the already rescheduled game.

@irishhockey V disappointed that Hockey Ireland interpreted new guidelines to meet their own agenda.Shameful that @Blackrockhockey essentially forced to forfeit Irish Challenge Cup match while doing best to abide by pandemic guidelines.So much for in it together.
