@Abunaah the most troubling part is the claim that party members were physically present across the wards, yet no officials or materials showed up, only for results to suddenly emerge later.. that raises serious concerns about credibility and internal accountability..

PRESS STATEMENT
The Abdulazeez Abubakar Kaka Campaign Council REJECTS in totality the purported All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary election for Kaduna North Federal Constituency said to have been conducted on 16th May, 2026.
Our team and supporters (APC card carrying members) were fully prepared and physically present at the supposed venue of the exercise across the 12 wards, only to discover that no officials, electoral materials, or arrangements for the conduct of the primaries were available. Shockingly, a group aligned with an aspirant emerged under questionable circumstances and announced comic results.
This is a clear hijack of democratic process, an abuse of internal party democracy, and a calculated attempt to impose a predetermined outcome on the people. We therefore call on the leadership of the APC to urgently investigate and address this injustice before it damages public confidence in the party and democracy itself.
We urge all our supporters and party loyalists to be resolute and be assured that, we will tirelessly work hard to claim our democratic right to ensure that rule of law prevails.
Thank you.

@iJenovae Whatever rocks their boats at that moment is what concerns them not the people's interest that's why they're so self-centered

What makes the situation even more dangerous is that citizens are gradually becoming desensitized to it. Democracy cannot survive when politicians treat political parties like temporary shelters instead of platforms built on ideas and policies

what is happening politically is bigger than party rivalry. it's exposing a deeper issue about governance, accountability and whether leadership in nigeria is truly about service or simply about power and control. the constant movement of politicians from one party to another shows that ideology is almost nonexistent in our system. many political actors criticize a government today and align with it tomorrow without explaining what changed except political convenience. that should concern every citizen regardless of tribe, religion, or party loyalty.

@iJenovae Like they always say "no permanent friend nor enemy, only permanent interest" so it'll continue to saga

@BHJaafaru The worrying part is not just the defections themselves, but what they reveal about our political culture. When politicians can switch sides overnight without any clear ideological difference, it tells citizens that power matters more than principles.
