National FFA Convention is wrapped and we are headed north. Such a great experience for our Byron FFA members!

Fun day in Animal Science. Students are working through our Nutrition unit so they were introduced to the Pearson Square method. What better way to learn how to build a ration than by building your own ration recipe to make Chex Mix. Thanks @case4learning for the great lesson!

Samson (along w/ his owner) came and visited the Vet Studies 1 class on Friday. Students learned more about Samson and his training towards working as equine-assisted learning partner to help individuals with mental health struggles.

It’s Dodge County Fair week!!

Greenhouse changeover complete!! From overflowing bounties of baskets, flowers, veggies and herbs for the Spring plant sale to producing the tomatoes and peppers for the @BTown_Bistro. We are well on our way for the delicious jambalaya @RyanRadke316

FFA members spent some time Saturday morning doing our ditch cleanup for our “Adopt a Highway” miles.

Another successful sale in the books. Thank you to all that came out and supported our class/students. They were so excited to see people buying the plants they had spent so much time learning and working with to get them to be “professional greenhouse quality.”

Byron FFA Ag in the Classroom with the 1st graders was a huge success. Members talked about dairy cows and then helped students make ice cream in a bag! It was all smiles at the Primary today. #ByronFFA
