We’re excited to share two new administrative appointments from tonight’s School Board meeting! Congratulations to Allison Wright, the new principal of @BrandonHSEagles! Allison began her journey with HCPS in 2014 as a reading and English teacher at Spoto and Riverview High Schools. In 2019, she served as Dean of Discipline at Parrish Community High School in Manatee County. She returned to HCPS in 2022 as the APC at @HCPS_SumnerHS, and in 2023, she joined Brandon High as its APC. We can’t wait to see you soar as the leader of our Brandon Eagles, Allison!

The HCPS Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Department is helping school staff strengthen the connection between families, communities, and student success! In collaboration with the @HeliosEdFnd, @Scholastic, and Fleming’s, a three-day training was held for FACE Ambassador Leaders. Through this training, they will be able to form a strong network that reaches over 230 schools across the district.

🌿 Big things are growing at @HCPSJenningsMS! This week, the school unveiled its newly refurbished community garden—with a refreshed screen house, new plants, fresh mulch, and no more weeds! 🌱💪 Thanks to the amazing support from our community, students now have an inspiring space to learn and grow. Special shoutout to Board Member Patti Rendon and members of Leadership Hillsborough for joining us in the celebration! 💚
