Our Higher Design and Manufacture class had the opportunity to visit the new @NMIS_group building today, what a great experience for them all, they particularly enjoyed the tour of the workshop. It's great to be able to see what they learn in class being applied industry. 😊

Some of our S2 classes have been working on their mobile phone holders. A great little project with lots of new skills; measuring, marking out, cutting, shaping, spot welding, dip coating and assembling. Look out for them coming home 😊

Ms Pettigrews Practical Woodwork class got really competitive with their practice (lathe) turning task. A prize for the best one might've helped with motivation 😏 Here's some of the best ones. Great work.
