One of my favorite nights of the year: EDGE Showcase! So proud of our kids!

It was an amazing morning at Beechwood! Our juniors participated in a Career Networking Day in partnership with NKU. Over 60 business partners joined us to help our students practice interview skills, talk about their resumes, and network! We are proud of our Tigers and grateful to our partners for helping students through this valuable experience. Thank you to Stephanie Layton and Janelle Hawes for making this excellent event happen!

Can’t wait for our students to explore our minor pathways today and again tonight at scheduling night! Parents: 6 PM for rising 8th-11th grades, 7 PM for rising 7th grade!

This week, Beechwood High School hosted a College Fair. It was a wonderful night for students and families to connect with 22 colleges and universities! College representatives also led sessions on financial aid, finding your postsecondary fit, and navigating college visits and applications. We are committed to providing our Tigers and families with a variety of opportunities to learn about the transition to life after high school and to feel supported throughout the process. Thank you to our counseling team!

Congratulations to Bella Slone, Poetry Out Loud STATE CHAMPION! We are very proud of Bella and wish her the best at Nationals in Washington, D.C. in April!

Reminder: We hope to see 9th - 12th grade families at our College Fair tomorrow! Current 11th grade families will also have two options at 5:30 and 7:00 to learn about scheduling for next year!

We’re excited to be getting time to work with every single Junior - a general overview of senior year timeline, how to finish this year STRONG, and scheduling considerations. Every junior will also get a 1:1 meeting with their counselor to plan for next year! #wearebeechwood

Please welcome Joky Ponce to the City of Fort Mitchell! Joky, a senior at @beechwood_tiger, is working with us until May as part of the school's @BeechwoodEDGE program. As you will see soon she’s already hit the ground running. Good luck with the rest of your internship, Joky!

The Beechwood Tigers improve to 9-0 with a 59-54 victory over Louisville PRP in Campbellsville. Dylan Topmiller scores 26pts and Owen McCormack adds 15. The Tigers advance to take on Bardstown in the semifinals.

The Beechwood Choirs were amazing tonight! Brava to Ms. Walton and all the performers. Creative, artistic, and heartfelt performances by every group - I could not be more proud of our Singing Tigers!

We have amazing staff serving our students! This year, Mr. Kaiser started Beechwood's Superintendent Award program. Each month, a staff member nominated by a colleague will be selected for exhibiting professionalism, positivity, or a progressive mindset. Congratulations to Logan Scisco, our December Superintendent Award winner, for exemplifying positivity! Mr. Scisco is the social studies department chair at Beechwood High School who is always raising the bar for his students and colleagues! Logan is Beechwood, and we are incredibly grateful to work with him! Thank you to Paul and Emily of @ottos521 for their contribution and continued support of Beechwood students and staff! #wearebeechwood

Last week, we had elementary team meetings where teachers shared their EDGE challenges from this year. Today and tomorrow, the high school is having EDGE Days. There has been such engagement, extensive work with outside partners, and tremendous collaboration between schools, grade levels, and content areas. We are so proud of our students for all they create and accomplish, and we are grateful for our teachers, staff, partners, and community who make these experiences possible! #wearebeechwood
