@CPat11 Having a true #5 that holds down 4-6 innings and gives up ~ 4 runs a game is normal. It’s not necessary to have 5 aces, although it’s been great to have that reality this year. Having 4 aces and 1 mediocre guy to round out the rotation is worth adding two impact bats.

Any “plan” for the #Mariners that includes trading one of their 5 starters and just filling that spot with Hancock is the biggest pile of garbage I can imagine. It’s the biggest problem with the “just trade a starter” idea: you have to replace that guy and you can’t in house.
