Yet another Western intelligence-orchestrated scandal, manufactured to destabilise the Hungarian election. The recordings themselves reveal nothing particularly egregious: routine diplomatic exchanges between representatives of two sovereign states. The real scandal lies elsewhere: in the fact that Western/NATO intelligence services were wiretapping the Hungarian foreign minister’s phone, and are now laundering those recordings through intelligence-linked, state-funded front organisations like VSquare, with the explicit aim of preventing Orbán’s re-election or delegitimising it after the fact.
The strategy is transparent: construct a narrative of “stolen” or “illegitimate” elections, then use it to marginalise — or worse — one of the few governments that refuses to toe the European war party’s line. But Hungary is merely the immediate target. The longer-term goal is to weaponise the Orbán precedent to finally abolish the unanimity rule in EU foreign policy decisions, completing the consolidation of the Euro-Atlantic oligarchic class over the continent.

BREAKING: Mass casualty event reported as Ukraine just hit one of Russia’s largest energy complexes, Nizhnekamskneftekhim.
Are they intentionally trying to make the energy crisis worse?

Meanwhile, Ukraine has attacked Russia's largest oil terminal. The port of Ust-Luga is burning. Are they purposely trying to make the energy / fertilizer crisis worse?

Media coverage of every election goes through the same routine. No substance, no discussion of issues--just obsessive, hysterical screaming about "Russia, Russia, Russia....!"
Who the hell cares that Hungary's foreign minister tried to get sanctions lifted off the sister of some Russian?
It should be a scandal--though it obviously will not be--that Western intelligence services are leaking to the media the phone conversations of the foreign minister of an EU/NATO member-state.

🚨 PEOPLE ARE FREAKING OUT — FARMERS WON’T TOUCH OR SMELL ROSES WITHOUT HAZMAT SUITS… AND YOU’RE PUTTING YOUR FACE IN THEM
Rose farmers fully covered… masks, gloves, sealed suits… dipping flowers into chemical baths to kill parasites and disease.
This isn’t rare.
This is how they’re handled before they’re exported to reach you.
Now think about it.
Those same roses end up:
• Pressed right up against your nose
• Handled with bare hands
• Sitting inches from your face
No protection.
No warning.
Nothing.
The people growing them won’t even touch them without gear… but you’re supposed to breathe them in?
And now the internet is reacting:
“This is actually insane”
“Why are they in biohazard suits for FLOWERS?”
“Yeah I’m never smelling a rose again”
Most people are just now realizing this and are panicking.
So what exactly are you touching… and putting your face into?

It has long been known that foreign intelligence services, with the active involvement of Hungarian journalists, have been intercepting my phone calls. Today they have made a new “major discovery”: they proved that I say the same publicly as I do on the phone. Nice work!
For four years we have been saying that sanctions are a failure, causing more harm to the EU than to Russia. Hungary will never agree to sanction individuals or companies essential for our energy security, for achieving peace, or those with no reason to be on a sanctions list.
However, the wiretap list is not complete. I have also regularly consulted with foreign ministers from several non-EU countries on sanctions-related matters.

Tankers carrying diesel to Europe have changed course.
Several tankers carrying diesel from the US to Europe have changed course mid-Atlantic.
The Aliai, Minerva Vaso and Grand Ace6 all loaded in the US and were initially bound for Europe, with destinations including Amsterdam and Gibraltar.
Their routes have since shifted. The Grand Ace6 is now signaling Lomé in Togo, while the Minerva Vaso is listed “for orders,” indicating no fixed destination as traders wait for better pricing. The Aliai has also diverted southeast, away from its original European route.
The Atlantic is now a “floating market.
Europe diesel shortages will cause collapse of industry.

Western media leaked conversation between Hungary's FM Szijjártó and Russia's Lavrov. Now they're trying to frame diplomacy for treason.
Szijjártó has already answered, "They proved that I say the same publicly as I do on the phone. For four years we have been saying that sanctions are a failure, causing more harm to the EU than to Russia."
Funny how they found the recording right after the EU spoke about cancelling the elections in Hungary.

According to my calculations the 8th of April is when crude oil shortages become acute in Europe - just a fyi

The reason why I see a $250 WTI price on the horizon (and I am personally positioned accordingly for such a sharp repricing in case shortages soon become acute in Europe first and in the US shortly after)

It is good to be in Kyiv today with European Foreign Ministers.
Each visit is a powerful reminder of Ukraine’s courage and resilience.
Europe stands by your side. We will keep providing military, financial, energy, and humanitarian support.
And we will do everything we can to ensure full accountability for Russia’s crimes.

Fuel prices at the pump in Malaysia have already increased by 51% due to the Iran war (and even 88% for Diesel).
And this is one of the most resilient economies in Southeast Asia in this regard, given it has the second largest oil reserves in the region (after Vietnam), and a large refining capacity.
Scale this globally and you start to understand just how devastating this war is for the global economy - and how much worse it is for countries with no oil industry at all.
