During the recent SO-50 pass, I used a 6m-tuned-for-2m V- Ant, an HT (15W max), and surprisingly QSO with XU7AMO. Yesterday at OM73 (better QTH than OM89) I barely got through, so I had zero expectations this time — yet it worked！ TNX to XU7AMO! #hamradio #amsat

I’ve tried to receive linear satellites using my UV-K6 with the CEC firmware, but I can only hear the beacon and very, very few CW signals. It seems QSO with XU in linear satellite is impossible ...... Hoping I will have a chance in SO-50……😢

@kikori1906 The problem is not the angle. It is the strong signal from southern stations and the few chances…… But I will still do my best！ (If I could operate linear satellites, this wouldn't be a problem. Maybe I can try CW on RS-44 with my UV-K6?）
