Yesterday was my first day at the gym. I got a gym buddy. She had no idea I had not been here before. I went straight for the 5kg dumbbells. I lifted twice and felt muscle fatigue. I nearly let out a loud scream but she was looking at me in amazement but I was in pain. So, I put them down and went to lie on my mat. I had avoided the instructor because I didn't want to show that I was new to this. After 3 minutes of lying down, I hit the treadmill. She helped me turn it on and adjusted the speed for me. I was feeling pumped up. It was going well until the muscle pull kicked in again. I slid off the treadmill shouting. She quickly reached for my hand and asked what had gone wrong. At a distance, the gym instructor just looked on smiling at my troubles. He probably could sense something wrong but didn't want to interrupt my pride spree. My partner helped me up and took me back to my mat. “It is a muscle pull,” I opened up to her. She helped massage my calf and then asked when the last time was that I worked out. “This morning,” I responded in a loud voice. The instructor then walked up to where we were and said, my subscription included his assistance. So, he called everyone together and said, we take a 2-minute break and go in for aerobics. I pretended to go grab my water bottle and put the door I went. I stood outside and called hubby to pick me up. I nearly lost my life yesterday. I'm supposed to be having a Zumba workout session this evening but here I am jogging so I can release the muscles. I started ten minutes ago but my legs and arms are still hurting from yesterday's recklessness. I'm now here waiting for my @SafeBoda to come pick me up.
