Still stand by the stance that this is getting a GOTY nomination even without the critic score. Game is doing gang busters even now.

@Thedrexperience Sure yeah right. No way a pornstar looks that good

She's also a pornstar

This dude has no criminal record, doesn't involve himself in divisive politics, doesn't do drugs, is intentional about physical fitness, and bothers no one.
He just eats, dances, is always happy and shares happiness, yet he gets more hate than actual criminals and paedophiles.

@MikeBales Man, this gave me chills. It’s the quiet acts of kindness like this that stick with people for life. You probably made that guy feel seen in a way he won’t forget.

I was at a steakhouse in Dallas, eating alone at the bar. Next to me was a young guy in a military uniform. He was eating a baked potato and a side salad.
Nothing else. He kept eyeing the steaks coming out of the kitchen, then looking at his wallet. I flagged the bartender.
"Put his tab on mine," I whispered.
"And send him the ribeye.
Tell him it's a mistake from the kitchen."
The bartender grinned. "You got it."
Ten minutes later, the huge steak landed in front of the kid. "I didn't order this," he said, panicked. "I can't pay for this."
"Kitchen messed up," the bartender lied perfectly. "Manager said to eat it or we have to trash it." The kid ate like he hadn't seen food in a week.
When he finished, he asked for the check.
"Covered," the bartender pointed at me.
The kid turned to me. "Sir, I..."
"Thank you for your service," I said.
"Get home safe." He stood up, shook my hand, and walked out taller than he walked in.
If you have more than you need, build a long table, not a higher fence. 🫡🇺🇸

@Fightincowboy @sekirodubi Why do you think reviewers hate this game so much? Only 77 on metacritic
English

@sekirodubi I think BG3 missed a lot of the launch conversation hype from the early access period. Still an absolute banger, just didn't have the typical launch chatter imo.
English

Definitely qualifies as a contender. The last time I saw so many people all talking and sharing experiences about a game this much was with Elden Ring. Those kinds of experiences are few and far between.

Do you think Crimson Desert will be a Game of the Year contender this year?

27/million and 10/million are admittedly very low, so criticism of my tweet/this study is warranted.
Initially, I put too much weight in the non-vaxxed vs vaxxed side of this without thinking critically enough.
I just looked up the general rate of myocarditis in children and it matches the above, so could be a lot more noise here than any signal.

I don’t think it’s possible for a girl to look like this from the neck down and not be ridiculously hot

In a @wsj editorial Democrat powerbroker lawyer David Boies says Trump was right to attack Iran, calls for Democrats to abandon reflexively anti—Trump partisanship and support the president. Good read here: wsj.com/opinion/partis…

Former Iranian political prisoner Kian Tajbakhsh shuts down an entire CNN panel with a blunt reality check.
Abby Phillip and Ashley Allison were spiraling over whether the U.S. is actually at war with Iran.
That’s when Tajbakhsh dropped an absolute truth bomb: “I think President Trump wants to finish a war that Iran started in 1979.”
ALLISON: “Two days ago, yesterday, this morning, I was told we were not at war.”
“Today in the press conference, Pete Hegseth says, end the war. Are we at war? Are we not at war? Do we want regime change or do we not?”
TAJBAKHSH: “You know, I know this may sound controversial…but I think a lot of commentary is missing the big picture.”
“To simplify it, I would put it this way.”
“I don’t think it’s right to say that President Trump has started a war with Iran.”
“I think President Trump wants to finish a war that Iran started in 1979, 47 years ago.”
Then he shared a story from inside Iran:
“These aren’t just words. Let me tell you an anecdote.”
“In 2003, 2004 when I was there in Iran, working on projects at a very high level, I was talking with deputy ministers…going back and forth.”
“I was in the foreign ministry in Tehran where I met someone very senior who was semi-sympathetic to the projects we were doing.”
“But as I was leaving, he looked me in the eye and said, as an Iranian-American I want you to listen very carefully.”
“He said we in this building…meaning the foreign ministry, meaning the government, meaning the regime…”
“He said we believe we are at war with the United States.”
“He said at that time it’s a cold war, but it’s a war nonetheless.”
The panel hated hearing the truth from someone who had seen the regime up close and they immediately jumped on him.
