@BoyHowdyPNW Boy Howdy you are right. GOOD hitters don’t swing at pitches way out of the zone. One simple thing to correct and we win it. Barry Bonds walked more in one season than Julio will in his career.

The Mariners missed the World Series because they did the simplest baseball things wrong throughout the ALCS. Don't miss over the middle. Don't swing at pitches out of the zone. Don't walk the leadoff guy.

Entering today… Only 12 hitters had ever hit 3 homers in a postseason game. Only 26 pitchers had ever recorded 10+ strikeouts, 2 or less hits and no runs in a postseason start. Shohei Ohtani just did both in the same game.
