@Zonal_Marking Obviously different scenario, but Karius for us had that infamous final in Kyiv for us and his career literally was not the same after. He is an anomaly though. Players usually do get a 2nd chance even after a tough performance like that!

Nice to see Kinsky playing well and being the star but it also shows how OTT the reaction was to his substitution at Atletico: pundits being sympathetic, while also saying "well that's his career done". He was having a bad game and got taken off! That's just how it works.

@benjaminlfc @GraemeKelly1 Probably not in terms of execution but he doesn’t want the high intensity that are all very accustomed too. He wants a small squad that focuses on control and “periodisation”. I’m concerned that does not work in a premier league that focuses on intensity and physicality.

Plenty of alternative managers wouldn’t see Gravenberch as a key component. A Naglesmann for example didn’t when he was at Bayern! No evidence the club wants to sack slot at all

Yep. He goes by mutual consent. The only reasons he's still in the job is the job is that they didn't want to go the interim route, and because Cesc said not now in November.

I'm still adamant they will let him go at the end of the season. A performance like this season's is unacceptable after a league win & the investment we have made I know many of you feel the opposite & that he will stay & deserves it. I don't believe that, and I could be wrong.

So I went to Prenton Park, thought I’d cheer on my home town team. Kept my mouth shut, wanted to respect the club, didn’t want to stand out with the locals, even though I live around the corner. Let me tell you, there were a fair few tourists in there today. We’ve all got em.
