I love this colourful, vibrant portrait of Mollie Kerr by her soon to be husband Spencer Gore, painted in 1911. They married in January 1912 and had 2 children. But it becomes a sad story, Spencer died of pneumonia in 1914, aged 35. 💔

And the winner of this year’s #WPYPeoplesChoice Award is...@RobertIrwin. His image shows a bushfire ravaging a forest in Australia, with a 50:50 - pristine conservation area on one side and its blackened remains on the other.
