@helen_dorrance Heard about this yesterday and couldn’t believe he’s gone. Larger than life and full of life and passion for the best outcomes for all. Dealt with him over a few years in NHS WI and he will be such a loss to all who knew him.

Deeply saddened tonight to hear of the sudden death of Mr Alaa El Banna, a consultant surgical colleague. He was larger than life, with a heart of gold. He will be missed.

@rosieICM @juniordoc2016 @TheBMA Absolutely agree but the launch of the #BMACare box was focussing on rest, next replenishment will include some different items and feedback like this really helps inform decisions around that.

@rosieICM @TheBMA Good to see the #BMACare box being used. We discussed including tampons, etc but some felt that was better for the next refresh rather than at launch. Will be watching this thread for any other ideas!
