So proud to have received 953k of funding from @TNLComFund for our multilingual health advocacy project for the next 5 years working in partnership with the Ethiopian Women’s Empowerment Group, Marylebone Bangladesh Society, Iranian Association, Neighbourhood Doulas and SW1IC

Brilliant to have worked with @CityWestminster and community organisations on this project to make safeguarding information accessible to communities by translating it in several community languages

This week, in honor of FGM Zero Tolerance Day, our health advocates did incredible work both online and in person with Somali, Arab, Ethiopian, and Eritrean-speaking communities. Together, they’re working towards making female genital mutilation a part of history.

It is fantastic news that this trial on prostate cancer screening is happening. It is essential that black men are recruited into this trial in sufficient numbers considering they are twice as likely to develop prostate cancer as white men.
