Crosby is 37 and MacKinnon is coming off a crushing Game 7 loss to Dallas. Connor Bedard is supposed to be the 'next one' but he declined Team Canada's invitation to worlds, reportedly to get rest. He's 19, missed the playoffs and was minus-36 this year. Olympics for him in 2026?
