We recently met with consultants interested in our upcoming Cayuga Creek Living Shoreline Project. Some goals include reconnecting the creek to its floodplain, restoring native habitats, and creating an outdoor classroom for the Niagara Wheatfield High School.

We spotted “ice volcanoes” on Lake Erie while scouting our upcoming projects in partnership with Cradle Beach. While fascinating to see, these can be unstable with hidden holes and frigid cold-water underneath, best to admire from a safe distance. bnwaterkeeper.org/cradle-beach/
