@reach_baseball The open stance seems like a logical solution to the fact that he’s always been pitched inside. The problem is that he is not barreling up anything now, even pitches across the middle of the plate. Feel like it’s only a matter of time before he switches the stance back.

@BOApounder Can't say I know enough about hitting to know if his stance is an issue. Anecdotally it seems like he's been pitched very well, the league is pounding him with fastballs inside and in turn he's pounding it into the ground. Riley seems to be missing a lot of hittable pitches

@reach_baseball Agreed. Think Acuna needs to go back to his more closed stance that he’s used the last few years. Looks like his timing is off

@BOApounder Correct, Olson's had a couple of monster games but has mostly been inconsistent early on. Just saying there have been way too many games where Drake was the only star player producing.

@TrillWilsosa @Braves The offseason additions are playing great (Dubon, Suarez, Mateo, Dom Smith). Your 3 long term core pieces in Riley, Acuna, and Harris are Black Holes at the plate so far this season.

It was weird watching Ronnie at the plate, he occasionally kept losing his balance which we don’t usually see him do and just kind of looked uncomfortable. I’m not gonna be concerned with it since it was just game 1
