C3 C4 and CAM plant anatomy helps them perform their own type of photosynthesis. C4 and CAM plants are great at avoiding wasteful photorespiration; C4 uses bundle sheath cells and CAM splits it into a day and night process. C3 C4 CAM Plant Tutorial: youtu.be/P_JU9vYd5O0

Bumping CO2 from 340ppm to about 800-900 ppm gives photosynthesis a ~20% boost. Above that the curve flattens out. It should also be noted that letting CO2 levels dip BELOW 340 is more detrimental than boosting CO2 is beneficial. C3 C4 CAM Plant Tutorial: youtu.be/P_JU9vYd5O0

Temperature and CO2 supply tend to limit photosynthesis. At low temperatures, RuBisCO is less likely to function as quickly as needed, and at high temperatures membranes and enzymes tend to denature or fall apart. C3 C4 CAM Plant Tutorial: youtu.be/P_JU9vYd5O0

Wasteful Photorespiration increases in hot weather. Plants close their stomata to avoid drying out, preventing new CO2 from entering the leaf. RuBisCO has greater affinity for O2 at higher temps. Eventually, the CO2 will run out C3 C4 CAM Plant Tutorial: youtu.be/P_JU9vYd5O0
