Committed to the mission and the people who carry it out, @BOPDirector Marshall visited #FDCHouston to meet staff and tour the facility to get a better understanding of its operations. During his visit, he toured psychology, health services, food services, the SHU and the visitors room with a special surprise to new COs participating in CPR training. BOP has a zero tolerance for staff misconduct. A multi-agency taskforce led by BOP and OIG with support from numerous federal and state partners at #FCCBeaumont recovered a significant amount of contraband. 👮 #NeverForgotten💙 Courage met danger on the 8th floor of MCC San Diego. While voluntarily working overtime to support his colleagues in a crowded institution, Officer Gary L. Rowe disrupted an escape attempt during what should have been a routine security check. Though he fought hard after being brutally attacked, he passed away two days later from his injuries.
