I appreciate that they didn't fall into the "face same syndrome" with the female characters like in Tekken 8; I like that each character has distinct features based on their nationality and race

idk i could never hate on sf6's art style they've improved a lot on the facial features and expressions and they manage to blend an "anime" look with realism so well. and it's so vibrant and colorful and full of personality too w/the graffiti and character outfits

And I really like SF6, but I don't like SF6 getting more than double the entrants of every other game combined at a major. Quickly heading towards a Golden Age of Fighting Game, singular. One game.

To clarify, to me success is "profitable enough that the devs / publisher don't regret making a hardcore fighting game." Not a fan of devs changing these games to appeal to some mythical casual audience who ends up not playing the game anyway. This one is doing everything right.

If this game fails I will never forgive the FGC. It has rollback, it has crossplay, it has sauce, it has charm, it's all motion inputs, it's a popular IP and it's only $30. If Avatar can't do it, then we truly deserve the current state of Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8.

I see the vision, but it's not Resident Evil. For a first trailer, my impression is that they're making this into generic indie horror movie, and I know he has a good reputation, but RE is not just about the horror. It's also the campiness and cheese that comes with it.

Just as I suspected based on comments the director made. This is just any other horror movie / zombie flick with the Resident Evil IP slapped on front. I don't think we'll ever get a truly great film adaptation of Resident Evil the way the fans know and love it.
