#Bears '18/LAR '20 thread A lot of what I'll be showing is the ideals that Staley has talked about and Fangio has shown when he was in CHI. All three worked together and have the same innovative thinking. In today's NFL the objective is to create a numbers advantage in pass game

@ConnorAllenNFL We KNOW? Or that’s what they made it seem to get someone to offer a first? I know it was reported after the fact but that could’ve been the thought behind the scenes

Regarding Caleb Williams' fateful interception in overtime of the Bears' loss to the Rams, a team source told @DannyParkins it wasn't a miscommunication or an effort problem as much as it was "confusion" for DJ Moore on what was a fairly new route concept for the offense.

The 2025 Chicago Bears Complete Offensive Manual is now available! This is my proudest work. It is the most detailed and expansive breakdown of an NFL offense you will find. The amount of nuance and variety in Ben Johnson’s offense forced the page count up to 514, making it my most comprehensive book by large margin. Get your copy today! amazon.com/dp/B0GHWZRJLT?…

@chrismwojcik What type of cardio do you do outside the mats? Have always heard the only way to build cardio is more rolls. Would love a different outlook on this

2026 grappling ins: 1. Training more intentionally. Good training often requires you to sacrifice short-term outcomes in the name of development. Don't run from the experience of failure as you build new skills. 2. Being a good training partner. When someone asks you to "go light", go light. If you can't, train with someone else. 3. Getting out of your comfort zone. Force yourself to wrestle the wrestler. Try and leg lock the leg locker. Compete if it scares you. Go to an open mat at a new gym. Put yourself out there more often. 4. Help build a more positive BJJ community. Maybe it's just me, but the last few years have been tough on the BJJ community. Scandals, shadiness, and just straight-up crime and abuse. Be a part of the change. Don't tolerate that shit. 5. Don't just learn moves, learn how to train better. The 3 moves your coach shows in class won't help you win your next tournament. A better training program and focused sessions will. Study Jiu-Jitsu, but also study practice design, athletic performance, and skill development. 6. Strength train. Resistance training is an essential aspect of any sport. "Sport-specific" is mostly bullshit. Move heavy weights, and you'll be able to move heavyweights. 7. Do cardio. You gas out because you don't train your gas tank. Elite combat athletes in every sport use roadwork as part of their training protocol. 8. Treat recovery like an essential part of training. And not just fancy recovery extras, like saunas and cold plunges. Before you do any of that, fix your diet and sleep schedule. Decrease stress or improve your ability to tolerate it. 9. Study other combat sports. Wrestlers are better than us at wrestling. Judo athletes can teach us a lot about off-balance, timing, and efficiency. The idea that Jiu-Jitsu has all the answers is very self-limiting. What'd I miss? What else is in in 2026? Let me know in the comments!

Tremaine Edmunds as a WLB is so much better/faster than he was as an MLB it calls into question ever having stuck him in the middle. Using him as a blitzer/drop cover guy is one of the (few) ways the Bears have created pressure, and he’s been fun to watch. Really like that move

Has to be the most CLV I’ll probably ever get Really wish I had more than $5 on it lmao but to be fair his best win at the time was Drew Dober and even now there’s a solid chance he doesn’t get the shot till early 2026
