I bought myself a house, after 4 months of work (and waiting out my apt lease) I moved in, slept my 1st night in it. When I was a boy in foster care I used to think before sleep, “someday I’ll have my very own house and nobody will tell me I have to leave”. Now that is true. 🏡

@Lysnos1 Yes, do it. I did that, too. I recently sold my house but I used to pick up discarded stuff & refinish them. I loved working with fabric. You’ll be so great at it!!! Do it!!!

@Lysnos1 I took a class at a local school for 6 weeks. The instructor was a maniac but I loved trying. I kept making stuff. I do have a good inventory. I fell in love with with it when I lived in Pittsburgh & would walk at night where every house had at least one window.

@Lysnos1 And it seems like it will take a long time to get established I just don’t know if it could be successful after all that work. I did this one in a frame I had to sand & refi ish & then add the roping. Just wanted to share
