Next up this morning is a trip to Coatbridge to face Dunbeth FC whi currently sit second in the league. It promises to be a tough match so the boys will need to be 100% committed straight from the first whistle if they want to take anything from the game! #letsgoBSA 🟡⚫️⚽️💪

@inspiresport Scottish Cup action this Saturday for the boys travel to Division 1 outfit @BonessUnited_FC u17s. There may be two divisions between both teams but we will give it our all and will hopefully come down the road with our heads held high! #letsgoBSA 🔶️🔷️

Referee's MOTM was Rhys Ayvin. There was a brief spell where we thought his goal would inspire a comeback however it wasn't to be! A great substitute performance. Constantly causing issues in the opposition defence with his direct running. Well done Rhys! 👏 🟡⚫️⚽️🏆

Humbling defeat in the League Cup on Saturday. In truth the boys played well in spells. We lacked that bit of desire to roll the sleeves up and take control of the game from Kilsyth who deservedly go into the next round. Back to the drawing board this week! 🟡⚫️👊 #positivity

Referee's MOTM was given to our CDM, Ross. A tenacious performance in the middle of the park winning the vast majority of his tackles, aerial duels and always making himself available for the ball. Well done Ross! 👏 🟡⚫️⚽️🏆

Honours even at HPG on Saturday. A step back from the performance of the previous week. A double from Calvin seems him now with 6 goals in 5 games. Onto league cup action this weekend and a chance to avenge our league defeat to Kilsyth Lime! 🟡⚫️⚽️

Back to league action tomorrow. The boys will be looking to build on their win last weekend with another good performance vs Riverside FC. We have played some really good stuff so far but need to be more consistent over the 90 mins. Let's go lads!! ⚫️🟡⚽️🏆

Great football in spells today from the boys and thoroughly deserved to come home with the 3 points. 4 goals in 4 games now for Calvin! Best wishes to the Camelon defender Logan who suffered a bad injury in the 2nd half. Hopefully he makes a quick and full recovery! 🙏 🟡⚫️⚽️

First game of the new season today for our squad. Result didn't quite go the way we hoped but the boys put in a spirited performance. On reflection not much between the teams but Kilsyth probably edged it with their desire. Onto Thursday when we face Strathaven Dynamos 🟡⚫️⚽️

New season, new league, new opponents! Preseason complete its now down to business. First game at home vs Kilsyth Athletic who finished in a strong 4th position last term. The boys will need to be on the front foot from the get go if they want to start the season on a high! 🟡⚫️

Third pre season game under our belt against a strong Dunbeth team. Losing three quick goals just before half time could've floored the boys but to their credit they bounced back scoring early in the second and created enough to deserve something from the game. Well done lads 👏

Another good run out for the boys against a well drilled East Kilbride FC side. The boys showed in patches how we are looking to play this season. More importantly they never gave up, pulling together to get a deserved consolation goal in the final third! 🟡⚫️⚽️

First pre-season run out for the boys yesterday allowing us to get a look at boys currently on trial as well as trying out a new formation. Some of the football played was a joy to watch. A few goal of the season contenders also thrown into the mix! Well done boys 👏 🟡⚫️⚽️
