A fantastic first aid session for Year 13 as part of their THRIVE carousel! Huge thanks to Dylan for an engaging session covering CPR, the recovery position, and first aid essentials. Lifesaving skills in action!

Year 7 are very intent on producing some lovely bookmarks during their wellbeing session.

Year 12 had an insightful THRIVE session on road safety with Old Boy Andy Walton! As they start driving or ride with friends, his talk emphasised staying safe behind the wheel and as passengers. An engaging, eye-opening session with invaluable advice! #DriveSafe

A huge thank you to Mrs Delves and Miss Langley for providing an impressive RSE session to Year 10. The girls were fully involved in some lively discussions.

In this weeks THRIVE, Year 11 were treated to an excellent session on study skills. Thank you Mrs Sells, the girls will benefit from this in their upcoming mock examinations.

A new topic introduced this year by @esteem_acetUK . Year 13 learning about Pelvic Health and how early awareness and understanding can help prevent common issues later in life. Thank you Gareth, another fabulous session.

Reem Ibrahim clarified the difference between equality and equity for her form (8E). Her explanation was complemented by a superb illustration. Thank you Reem 👏

9E engaged in a fantastic session on emotional wellbeing today! Thoughtful discussions and debates highlighted their insight and understanding. Great to see such meaningful conversations!

YEAR 12 are exploring the new Wellbeing Hub in THRIVE today.

Year 7 THRIVE learned crucial online safety tips: being aware of risks, keeping information secure, spotting fake news and seeking support if needed. Huge thanks to Mr Roadknight for his insightful session.

Year 12 discussed gender stereotypes in the media and how this impacts our use of language, especially LBGTQ+ vocabulary. Thank you, once again, Gareth Cheesman you made us think about the words we choose and how language can shape reality. @esteem_acetUK
