Pompano Beach BSO CORE Team participated in the NW Community’s Family Fun Day on Saturday. Great turn out.

The Leadership of North Broward took a tour of our BSO facilities yesterday. The visited the North Jail, Pompano Beach BSO headquarters, and the Aviation Hanger with Pompano Beach Fire Rescue. Thank you for joining us.

Yesterday was the ribbon cutting for our new Collier City Substation, located at 441 NW 27th Ave. Thank you to the City of Pompano Beach for your support.

Pompano Beach CORE participated in the Stay Healthy Together event on Saturday. Great community get together.

Our very own COP, Doris O’Donnell, was just recognized by the City of Pompano Beach for 20 years of volunteer service to the Pompano Beach CERT unit. Congrats!

Saturday BSO Pompano Beach CORE conducted Distracted Driving Awareness training at the Mt. Pisgah Church Community Fair and Fun Day. Avoid driving distracted and stay focused on the road when behind the wheel.

Our Pompano Beach Explorers competed at the Florida Sheriff’s Explorer Association 2025 competition. Out of 37 posts competing, they won the following: Explorer Noah Acreus- 3rd place in PT Pompano Beach- 3rd place Crisis Intervention POMPANO 1ST PLACE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!

Congratulations to Deputy Kersey on your retirement after 36 years with Pompano PD and BSO. Thank you for your dedication to the community and all of your hard work. You will be missed.

Pompano Beach CORE Team and BSO NST participated in the Expressions of Love Academy Kids Fun Day.

Congratulations to Sergeant Swanson (30 years) and Sergeant LaFleur (20 years) on your longevity.

Captain Stallings paid a visit to the Boys and Girls club. Local leaders talked to the kids about being a positive influence to others, life lessons, and being good future leaders.
