BSTDB President Dr. Serhat Köksal, joined by Secretary General Asterios Tsoukalas, received H.E. Michael Roux, Ambassador for the Eastern Partnership and the Black Sea of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, at the Bank’s headquarters in Thessaloniki. The Ambassador was accompanied by Jean-Luc Lavaud, Consul at @FRThessalonique and Mathieu Vasseur, Regional Director for Eurasia at @AFD_France. The meeting explored opportunities to strengthen institutional cooperation and support sustainable development initiatives across the region.

Constructive discussions between BSTDB and Thess INTEC on advancing innovation and sustainable development in the region. President Köksal and SG Tsoukalas received a delegation by Thess INTEC, led by its President & CEO, Nikos Efthymiadis. Topics included collaboration opportunities related to climate change, marine protection, fish stock sustainability and the promotion of the blue economy, while also exchanging views on the evolving innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
