That commitment is shallow, nothing but a "resounding gong or a clanging cymbal" when an employee is fired for telling a "little t" truth. Benny weeps for her beloved @BallState.

Benny is less confident about Ball State regaining its lost integrity. All universities claim to have a mission that involves seeking, transmitting, and applying knowledge. At the heart of that mission, though, is a commitment to seeking "big T" Truth.
