Ball State Sigma Chi

We would like some time to congratulate the 18 people that Sigma Chi had on the Dean’s List for the fall of 2023! Amazing work! One last thing to recognize is the three graduates we had. Nathan Middlebrook, Jared Newman, and Tyler Groves were our three graduates at the semester.

December’s Brother of the Month is Ethan Tippett! Ethan is a freshman from Noblesville, IN who is currently studying business finance. He also currently holds the position of house manager. A fun fact about Ethan you may not know is he used to work as a calculus/chemistry tutor!

Today, we remember all those who lost their lives on Dec. 7, 1941, in the attack on Pearl Harbor, including two Sigma Chis, U.S. Navy Ensign Verdi Sederstrom, OREGON 1940, left, and U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. George Cannon, MICHIGAN 1938. All honor to their names. #PearlHarbor

Congratulations to Joseph Gassensmith and Noah Steepleton for each winning an award at the @ballstatefsl Grand Chapter. Joseph won the award for IFC Outstanding Greek Leader of the Year while Noah won IFC Outstanding Council Member of the Year. Congratulations to these two!

November's brother of the month is Tucker Wheatley! Tucker is a junior from New Albany, Indiana who is majoring in lighting design! In the house, he has held the position of philanthropy chair twice. Congratulations Tucker and keep up the good work!
