@sammyhagar @VanHalen @bryanadams First Van Halen album I heard and bought. Summer 1995, I saw them open for Bon Jovi, never heard of them haha (I was young), bought the album the next day. Still one of my favorites!

@BonJoviTalk Have just listened to both songs Cant believe that anyone has noticed that the beggining of Red White and Jersey is exactly the same beggining of Prove It All Night by Bruce.

Just listened to 'Red, White & Jersey' Fits the album 'Forever' Upbeat pop song. Not an 'in your face rock song' that a certain someone described it as. It's okay. Nothing special at all. Haven't got the urge to listen again after first listen.

@BonJoviTalk Maybe Jon can’t sing proper rock songs anymore because of his voice. You need to sing louder (I guess) . That’s why we get all these mediocre pop songs. They’re easier to sing for him.

@mitchlafon RIP George. A great musician and guitarist from the greatest rock band the Netherlands had!

George Kooymans, guitarist and co-founder of Dutch rockers, Golden Earring, has passed at the age of 77. According to his family, he succumbed to ALS, the degenerative muscle disease he had been battling since 2020. In a statement, the family said: “We say goodbye to a great musician and composer whose work reached far beyond Golden Earring. George was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, but above all, a friend.” Golden Earring’s drummer Cesar Zuiderwijk said he is taking time to reflect: “What we want now is silence and to think back on everything he did. I played with him for 50 years, and it was the best time of my life.”
