@PacersWRLD @hoosierhaha @georgelettice69 He was also surrounded by high major transfer talent (Mara, Johnson, Cadeau, etc.). Dusty didn't just build a team full of mid-major guys and hoped they all would elevate their games. If he did, they wold not be playing tonight.

@insidethehall This is the type of player #iubb needs to go after and get. A proven high major player…not a proven mid major guy. Develop talented freshmen (if they ever get any) and sprinkle these types in.

Crean adjusted many times with his first year team which by the way was MUCH less talented than this year’s team. #coaching

I mean, half of Cig’s team came with him. That should have been an early red flag. So it basically turned into “Tucker & Friends”.

Get a stable of Indiana kids that can at least get you to the NCAA every year…then sprinkle in the Isaiah’s, Eddy’s, etc. but it starts with a group of homegrown kids.

Knight’s best ever recruit was from Illinois (Isaiah). Other BIG schools are recruiting Indiana hard (msu, northwestern), not to mention the best kid in Indiana last year went to Connecticut. Kids see it differently.

Now that year one is over, I really hope Darian DeVries learned some lessons. Grab a couple bigs and an actual ball handler in the portal. Make the tournament next season and continue to progress every year.
