Hyperliquid is where price discovery happens. $550m in oil OI while traditional markets are closed. I would expect this to continue to accellerate the more conflict volatility develops.

Some positive news is that HIP-3 is not slowing down and largely benefitting from the macro volatility and has $2.35Bn outstanding open interest across HIP-3 markets. HIP-3 is on it's way to becoming the dominant product on Hyperliquid flipping both the open interest and daily executed volume on it's platform eclipsing digital asset perpetual trading. HIP-3 markets have in aggregate executed $150Bn since their inception. March alone executed $72Bn of this volume and if you remove growth mode then you this would net $388M in gross revenue w/ $194M being directed to the Assistance fund.

Curious why you think Coinbase would want to do an agreement with Circle for cbBTC? I always viewed CB as the distribution partner and Circle as the infrastructure provider. CB already has the infrastructure for cbBTC. My long-standing assumption is that Brian likely regrets outsourcing USDC to Circle, and would internalize it if given the chance.

Ya, I'm in the TBD camp; could have just done a similar deal they have w/ Coin on USDC w/ cbBTC though (different economic model etc) to grow the pie. But they're pitching a broader tokenized asset platform with other products (i.e. eurc, usyc) across their biz so understand the rationale

Circle going after Coinbase's largest tokenized product (cbBTC - $5.9b o/s) feels like a direct shot at their largest distribution partner and potentially a sign of things to come ( $CRCL + $COIN interest income sharing agreement up for renewal this August)

I have to imagine the CLO would not say this without confirmation. Good spot to nibble $COIN $CRCL.
