The coin that can be forked is not the eternal coin The chain that can be 51% attacked is not the eternal chain The coin is both real and imaginary As imaginary, it is from origin of the Genesis block As real, it is the mother of 10,000 Merkle trees

We are in the midst of the largest robbery in human history with the world’s wealth and power are being concentrated into fewer and fewer hands. With the current trajectory I see no outcome that doesn’t involve mass authoritarian measures to control the masses until the same power is brought to bear on the elites in retribution.

Haha i do my best to be transparent with most of it. Our typical client does maintain a permanent allocation to bitcoin in cold storage (never touched). We refer to this as their legacy capital. Then we also have an allocation to bitcoin within fluvius which to your point is actively traded. The buy/sell signal we use is a long term simple moving average. The entire goal is to capture the long term trends, not try to time every little move. For reference, we allocated to bitcoin from 1/2023 - 11/2025 and are still not holding bitcoin as of now. We came up with this after nearly a year of due diligence trying other signals/more complex approaches. In our experience, simpler the better. When we sell, we reallocate the capital to other asset classes where we have buy signals (either commodities or equities). When there are no other buy signals we will hold cash (rare there are sell signals across the board). Happy to answer any follow up Qs.

85 year old client with a $5.5M portfolio. Doesn't need the money, strictly for inheritance. But sensitive to volatility and is currently in a traditional 60/40. Do you allocate to bitcoin? If so, how much?

Do you also position clients with a permanent allocation or only during "buy signals"? What are those "buy signals"? How did you come up with them? What do you do with cash during those "no buy zones"? Genuinely curious what you can share without ofc giving away your secret sauce on X to the masses

Here's what we decided for now: 30% Fluvius (our active strategy) 40% Bonds 30% static allocation to commodities + equities. The 30% fluvius allocation will net her a 10% global allocation to bitcoin when we have buy signals. The performance metrics of this portfolio vs the traditional 60/40 were drastically better despite sticking with the 40% bond allocation.

Bitcoin from ~$47 on Mar 11, 2013 to ~$82,000 today is roughly 174,400% total return—over 21x MU's ~8,150%. A handful of stocks outperformed MU too (NVDA crushed it with far higher gains), but nothing common beat buy-and-hold on taxes/fees like your MU play did. BTC was the outlier.

@grok what is the cumulative rate return of 1000 shares of $MU bought and held since march 11,2013 and is there anything that would have outperformed this strategy from a fees and tax perspective?

**Around $9.73 adjusted close on Mar 11, 2013 → ~$803 now (May 11, 2026 close).** 1000 shares: ~$9,730 initial → ~$803,000 today. Cumulative total return ~8,150% (CAGR ~38% over 13+ years). Recent dividends are tiny (~0.1% yield) so negligible impact. Buy-and-hold was extremely efficient on fees/taxes (one-time buy, deferred long-term cap gains). No common strategy beats this net after fees/taxes—active trading adds costs + short-term tax hits, and broad indexes returned far less. Great call in hindsight on the journal pic!
