As confirmed by ABC News, Trump's naval blockade is proving to be a COMPLETE FAILURE. Multiple tankers have made it through the Strait of Hormuz. Trump has spent billions of taxpayer dollars for what has amounted to be a anouther failing strategy. Pete Hegseth should be fired. 😂

We really could stop AI development right now and it would still transform a substantial portion of white collar work, often unrecognizably, over the next 5-10 years as people figure out how to make the technology work in various industries, even given current models' limitations

Instead of teaching kids how to bake in home ec or how to lose fingers on a bandsaw in shop class schools should have mandatory digital hygiene classes
- how to use two factor auth
- how do not get phished
- how to manage passwords
- how to tell is that caller is AI

I think many knowledge workers who spend an hour with Cowork will get that "Claude Code" moment that has been roiling X for the past few weeks.

I pointed Claude Cowork at a set of 107 documents (PPTs, Word docs, Excel) that were initially hand-created for my class at Wharton & expanded on by AI. They make up a very complex business case with lots of issues & opportunities
AI was able to one-shot the case from documents

My mom texted me that she bought gold two nights ago.
Last night, I was with one of my wealthiest friends (40 years old, 20+ luxury cars, boat in Saint-Tropez, etc.) & he told me that he bought a bunch of gold for the 1st time ever that day.
The trade is long in the tooth.

Andersom: internationaal recht is wat overblijft wanneer niemand het belangrijk genoeg vindt om ermee te breken.

Ooit het vak international recht gevolgd, maar als de afgelopen vier jaar mij iets hebben geleerd dan is het wel dat ik net zo goed luchtkastelrecht had kunnen volgen.
Het recht van de sterkste is weer leidend, en denk dat we de implicaties daarvan onvoldoende onder ogen zien.

One of my gripes with bitcoin:
It's complex.
"Be sure to utilize a 2FA multi-sig cold wallet air gapped with a 24-word seed phrase."
How does the bitcoin community expect the average person to react to that?
