@wesstreeting In Blackpool there were big posters say , do you need to go to A/E , Can you go elsewhere . But failed to tell you what the elsewhere alternatives are. Which after 8pm is zero.

Far too many patients are ending up in A&E and getting stuck on trolleys when they don’t need or want to be there. That's why today I've announced more investment and reforms so more patients can be treated closer to home by great urgent community response teams like these.

We're making emergency care faster and more convenient so people don't end up in A&E where possible. As part of our Plan for Change, more people will be seen by urgent community response teams so they're not admitted to hospital unnecessarily. Teams like this NHS Falls Car 👇
