This is the beauty of extending now. JSN only gonna cost $13M/year until 2028, at which point $42M for a top-tier WR will be very normal. Projection ~10% annual cap increases, and assuming his production remains elevated, JSN’s deal will never not be good value for Seattle.
Seattle ON Tap@SeattleONTap

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has two years left on his rookie deal: 2026: $2,715,996 2027: $23,852,000 2028: $42,015,000 2029: $42,015,000 2030: $42,015,000 2031: $42,015,000 $26.56M for the 2 years left, then the new four years worth $168.8M. Total is basically $192.4M over 6 years = $32M per year overall. Really smart of the Seahawks to get it done now.

CNBC's Andrew Sorkin: Andrew Sorkin: “I think you made more money on F1 than the Dolphins. Am I wrong?" Steve Ross: "F1 has been great … We get more attendance for F1 races for three days than the entire (Dolphins) season tickets that we sold."

I keep seeing this floated. I can’t really wrap my head around the logic of trading capital to pay Achane when you could’ve just signed Walker for less money. Yes, Walker will get you a comp 5. But you aren’t getting achane for anything close to that.
Football Forever@fballforeverhq

As the Dolphins continue to rebuild with premium draft picks, there’s increasing belief that RB De’Von Achane could be traded, with the Seahawks being a possible suitor. Trading for Achane will be expensive as the Seahawks would need to sign him to a lucrative extension.

Single-car qualifying on a street course: awesome idea. Watching single-car qualifying on TV when you have zero clue over the course of the lap any sense of how the car on track’s time compares to the current leader: much less satisfying an experience.

@dabfordale IndyCar Ovals are strange. I’m convinced theyre interesting races but there’s just some level of selection bias that people don’t care. The oval people are already watching their 80 nascar series. The casuals think it’s talladega nights or worse old boring nascar

There are more people in Arlington in qualifying day than there were in Fort Worth on race day most years. For everyone that says “just get the on track product right and fans will flock” IndyCar ovals are direct evidence that that doesn’t work alone.

@Mike_M_Klotz Both sides have a point here. Bugatti refusing to allow mechanics outside of their factories in France is price gouging (a group of people who typically can and will pay it). Having a random mechanic slap together your Bugatti like nothing ever happened is dangerous.

This may very well not be true, considering it's Telegraph. But if it is - it should be stopped by the FOM and/or the FIA. Having two RB/VCARB situations in a sport of 11 teams is ridiculous.
