Jin's note - maybe it's hard to hit exactly right, who knows - is backtrack, and he adds a bit at the end. The difference is extremely clear, and Jin doesn't even try to cover the whole note.

this is the breakdown of every tour BTS + the songs they played from their latest album at the time. wings tour: 13/20 songs from WINGS LY/SY tour: 18/25 songs from LY Trilogy HYYH tour: 14/24 songs from HYYH pt.1 & pt.2 PTD tour: 11/23 songs from BE and MOTs Arirang Tour: 13/23 songs from Arirang a pretty even distribution with the most dense being LYSY tour, because they had 3 albums to play songs from. you'll ALSO notice that for every tour they did around 20-25 songs, and Arirang isn't at all 'less' than previous tours. what they DID have less of this time around was VCRs and clips in between bc the nature of a 360 stage limits their ability to go backstage and change outfits/transition phases of the setlist. so i don't really know what anyone is talking about, this is the ARIRANG tour, and just like they have historically done before, they will play songs from their current album.

Every day, BTS makes it clearer to me just how unsustainable & unmanageable the K-pop system really is and why it’s something to be grateful for that they’re actively stepping away from that unhealthy formula. This shift isn’t a loss; it’s something worth celebrating!

ARMY also needs to shift into their 2.0 era along with BTS. the fastest way to drag BTS back into the kpop box is how we react to kpop stans. if bts are shifting, then fans have to shift too: every time they throw comparisons, set up fake charts, spreading propaganda, they’re not just talking to drag they’re baiting a reaction. and when we jump in to “prove them wrong” with bts numbers charts etc, we’re literally reinforcing the same system bts are trying to outgrow. it doesn’t matter if the intention is defense, the outcome is the same. that means unlearning the need to respond to everything, unlearning the habit of measuring them against anyone else, and realizing not every narrative needs to be corrected in real time. silence is not losing, it’s refusing to play a game that no longer applies to them. because at the end of the day, constantly comparing bts just to shut someone up still centers kpop standards around them. and if we keep doing that, we’re the ones holding them back. their growth means letting their work stand on its own, not using it as a weapon in fanwars. besides, no one really gives a shit about what a kpopstan thinks outside of kpop. bts is, well, wayyyyy past it. the reaction we’re seeing from kpop stans right now proves the point. they’re judging it through a kpop lens so of course it doesn’t “match” what they think a tour should look like. but that standard is irrelevant here. this is a bts tour. this is arirang. this is bts 2.0. and the sooner people accept that, the less confused they’ll be. arirang is a pop album, not a kpop album packaged for idol expectations. this shift is literally bts 2.0 and some of you are still holding onto 1.0 like it’s the only valid version. if we want to enjoy bts 2.0 we significantly need to also be in 2.0 behaviour.

why are ARMY platforming haters whose goal is to create the exact narratives that are being bass-boosted? 🧐 Arirang has proven no one outside these spaces gaf about kpop's endless negativity & drags. All you're doing is spreading misery after a great concert. Ignore = flop etc
