Dragon and the Pearl remains my Little Sis’ favorite book of mine. I think it’s because Li Tao is so C-drama broody

Full disclosure: as much as I loved Butterfly Swords, I walked away from that book with a big, albeit reluctant, crush on Li Tao. So you better believe that I'm looking forward to not feeling guilty for wanting to read about the antagonist more than I want to read about the hero!

This is my proudest podcast moment & up there in all time amazing life moments. This emotional as I felt deeply connected to both my Mamaw & Mama who were Jackie fans. Collins created women who behaved like men & gave a glimpse into the glamourous & seedy world of Hollywood.
