Then on Monday evening at training, the girls were thrilled to be joined by Boston United first team favourite Dylan Hill - a massive thanks to him for taking the time to meet and chat with the girls. 2/2 @Dylanhill_24

Our U9 Girls took part in the LWGFL tournament in Lincoln at the weekend. They played their socks off and we couldn't be prouder! The team fought hard and managed to make it to the final, where they placed worthy runners ups! 1/2

Our U13 Girls played their last league game this weekend v Stamford away. Unfortunately they lost a hard fought game, but the girls played really well & they were very unlucky with the result. They have had a very good season this year and hopefully it’ll continue into next year!

U9 Ambers had an early start v Hampton Rangers Reds. The team had a great attitude towards the physical side they faced. They were asked to stand up to this & be confident in possession which they did well. ⚽️ Fred & Noah, who were POTM for their fantastic battling performances

Sheamus opened the scoring with a superb curling effort, finding the bottom corner with precision. The second goal followed after excellent team play down the right wing, with Edward on hand to finish and seal the move. 2/3

A closely contested match saw YDP and our U12 Ambers go toe-to-toe in an even first half, with both sides showing quality and determination. The breakthrough came after the interval, as Boston began to edge control. 1/3

🏆 POTM this week was Oscar, whose resilience and determination stood out. He continued to play and never gave up, getting his reward in-front of goal. Overall, a positive performance full of effort and determination—plenty to build on for the weeks ahead.

As always, there are areas to keep improving. Moving the ball quicker will help the team make the most of their attacking opportunities, and continuing to develop decision-making on the ball will take their overall play to the next level. 3/4

U8 Ambers put in a determined, spirited performance v a good Deeping Red. Facing well-organised opposition, the team showed resilience & battled for every ball. There were some really encouraging passages of play, linking up nicely at times and confidence in possession. 1/4

🏆 Louis S - captains performance, worked hard with/without the ball. Never let his head drop and wanted to contribute 🏆 Players POTM - Jimmy - constantly worked hard with and without the ball, playing on the wing. Looked to be positive and stood in at left back to help. 4/4

Second goal conceded shook momentum & heads dropped. When we got our structure right we played well & created problems. The team just need to show resilience with setbacks & use them as an opportunity to react positively; something we did well first half of the season. 3/4

Difficult game for U14 Blacks v Spalding United on a challenging pitch v physically bigger team. Central defensive position caused an issue - Louie, Jacob, Adley stepped in when Mal was lost to injury. These aren't natural positions so thank you for the support to help! 1/4

Mention to Albs D who defended resolutely all game. The worthiest mention is Zac, who deserved POTM with his finest performance of the season. He epitomised what was lacking in others, never gave up and displayed a brilliant attitude all morning. Well done Zac! 4/4

Second half was a difficult affair & Spalding went on to win the game comfortably. Boston team deserve huge credit for reaching the latter stages of this competition! Notable mention to Isaac, who made some simply terrific saves to keep some respectability to the scoreline. 3/4

U10 Ambers travelled to Pinchbeck to play local rivals Spalding in a semi-final of the league's cup competition. On a very eventful morning, this was always going to be a difficult task against a well organised outfit. 1/4

Better second half performance from the Pilgrims saw us equalising from a free kick taken by Ash but Lincoln quickly struck back taking the lead with a few mins to go. The team didn’t let their heads drop, and worked hard to get an equaliser with a calm finish from Jas. 2/3

Our U16 girls are through to the @LWGFL1 cup final following a semi-final win v Lincoln United on Saturday. Tense game for both teams, with the Boston girls struggling to settle into their usual game. Solid first half from Lincoln saw the Pilgrims going in at halftime behind. 1/3
