We felt privileged to host the first ever Dorset Boys' Impact Conference for young men in years 8/9 titled "Dorset Takes Boys Seriously". Over 160 students attended from 11 schools across Dorset, hearing from inspirational speakers and taking part in interactive workshops.

BU's Department for Computer Animation are hosting a Summer School for students aged 11-15 Monday 5 - Friday 9 August 2024. Over the 5 days students will learn how to create their own computer animated short film! Please note this summer school is a paid programme.

We hosted our Chesil Books and Stories Celebration Event today. The students got to tour campus, and have their graduation, where they dressed up in Graduation gowns and given a goodie bag/certificate to celebrate their achievement of completing the Books and Stories programme 🎓

Our Student Ambassadors enjoyed a brilliant visit to Bishop Aldhelm’s Primary School for their ‘Dream Jobs Day.’ They engaged with over 500 children, introducing them to the university experience, letting them try on caps and gowns, and discussing their future career aspirations.
