2. The Oilers have like two 2nd round picks in the next 3 years and I can’t imagine them burning their one of their only semi valuable trade chips on big Mike. They’ve got nothing to trade

@CMDeDominicis @JeremyWGR Is there a limit to the amount of coaches a team can have and the amount permitted on the bench or in the locker room during games?
Thinking they could add a PP specialist, faceoff instructor (I know they did better but still), etc.

Sabres announce Lindy Ruff has signed a two year extension.
Wasn’t in the release but I believe the coaching staff has or will receive similar extensions.

Maybe some more on it later, super busy at the real world job. Anyways quickly I wouldn’t be shocked if we hear about a Ruff extension in the near future. Seems as though both sides want to keep that going and have gone down that path to do so. Ok enjoy the day.

@JeremyWGR Our playoff roster was altered to play a muck it up style against BOS & TB. I wanted to play MON the least in the playoffs. They are fast, skilled & top end power is better. Our stars have been hot since Dec. and we’re bound for a letdown plus you know they are playing hurt.

@MattKopnak I won’t lie, I’m worried about the offseason. I need our GM to show no loyalties to any player, not just those on our roster but those in the league. Cannot have him salivate over guys he liked, drafted, scouted, etc. it needs to be done impartially and objectively.

@CMDeDominicis I get that it’s the playoffs. Saying a penalty may effect the outcome of the game is also saying NOT calling a penalty can effect the outcome of the game. 2 brutally missed calls in BOS zone prior to their goal. So frustrating.

@JeremyWGR Shavers out with his knee means Coleman will be on the field more to assist with run blocking. That will lead to a bigger role in the offense. Terms of pass catching, I think they will be even. Moore, Shakir, Kincaid in that order.

@JeremyWGR I do not like the idea of playing Schenn, but play Schenn to just run guys. McAvoy, Zadorov, Pasta… they have the puck, open season. Who cares if you get suspended. We will put Timmons, Stanley, or Kesselring in next round.

@SalSports I’d love to see the NFL change the practice squad. Any player drafted after RD3 is on a protected squad for 2 seasons but receive full pay. Let those late rounders develop without poaching. Rest of PS operates the same. Kinda treat it as red shirts.
