In Art, we have explored the brushwork of some famous artists. We tried to recreate sections of their work by experimenting with colours, brushwork and texture. #bvpsart

We had lots of fun in Year 2 on World Book Day. We used our characters to create some plays, paraded in our costumes, listened to some mystery readers from the media centre and shared books with our friends. We finished our day with a story about the big, bad wolf. #bvpsenglish

To support our science unit about materials, we were lucky enough to work with some scientists from NSG (Pilkington Glass). We found out about how glass is made, used scientific equipment to complete experiments and found out how to become a scientist. It was fantastic!

We have completed some comparative tests based around which material would make the best house for the 3 little pigs.

We made timelines in our history topic. We were amazed to learn that animals had been into space! #bvpshistory
