We’ve just heard from @mndassoc funded researcher Dr Bjorn Vahsen at @MNDOxford about the role of brain immune cells called microglia in #MND #ALS. He’s been looking at how communication between motor neurons and microglia changes in cell models of MND which have a change in the C9orf72 gene.
