Y12 - a really helpful four-page briefing here, great for elections and democracy topics. Remember always to link your answers to a *type* of democracy and feature (rep, lib, etc.)

Y12 - we've just finished this unit, so this is a very timely read. Get to it, and get practising your noting (Parliament, Scrutiny, PM topics)

Y12 - Scottish Budget yesterday included scrapping two-child benefit cap. In July, the same thing was suggested as an amendment in Parliament and led to Labour suspended 7 MPs when they voted for it (and were told not to). A great comparison for your devolution topic! Read below.

Y12 - useful for a bunch of topics (Parliament - scrutiny, representation, legislation, role/power backbenchers, etc plus Parties, Democracy and Pressure Groups topic). But also a fabulous super-curricular opportunity for students. Get stuck in!
