Through counsel, Spears took responsibility and entered the plea just two months after the incident.Under the agreement, Spears will serve 1 year of probation and must complete a 3-month alcohol education program. She will also have a diminished expectation of privacy in her vehicle: if stopped, she must submit to alcohol or drug testing, and her car can be searched for intoxicants. She is prohibited from driving with any intoxicant in her system.
